It has been one week. One week exactly since I put myself through one of the most violent matches I have been apart of. The bad thing is I can't even remember half of it.
At Mohawk in Austin, TX for Anarchy Championship Wrestling, the Wrestling Goddess Athena took on & defeated the Strong Style Diva Rachel Summerlyn in a 10,000 thumbtacks match. A match that is my style, a match that was in my favor due to the stipulation. But Athena proved that night that she is one of the top Joshi's in ACW. She put herself & me through hell & back. Backdrops, German Suplexes, Gory bombs, Texas cloverleafs, Rings of Saturn, back senton, the list goes on & on what we did to each other that night. She stepped up & proved me wrong. She showed not only me, but the world that she can hang in the hardcore environment. I am very proud of that.
I am not proud that she beat me though. I will come back & I will fight harder than ever to show ACW & the world what I am about. I may have been knocked loopy from her diving onto me from the outside, where it has been told to me that I crushed beer bottles with my head, but I kept fighting & kept going to show her how strong I am. I may be a pretty face, but I am also one hell of a fighter & not afraid to get in a knock down, drag out fight.
January 16, 2011 was just the beginning for me. I will pick myself up, ice the knot on my head, wipe myself off & keep fighting harder than ever.
So on February 20 in San Antonio, TX at Hooligans RaJETT are in a 4 way tag against Flippy Shit, Smurf Nation & The Lost Boys. Well boys, don't underestimate the Egg-cellent team of RaJETT because before you know it we will have captured the ACW Tag Team Titles & take them all over the nation & defend them.
Everyone in the area come out to Hooligans on February 20 & we will all have a ball at Psychotic Break with Anarchy Championship Wrestling.

Hello, Hello…. Hello?

Hello, Hello…. Hello?

So January 1, 2011 will forever go down in history as the day that Rachel Summerlyn put up her first website & website blog!!!! I have to say it was a good day.

So as Jessica & I were out last night in the wonderful town that is Austin, TX, that has come to know & love their bacon & eggs, I got to thinking about how amazing 2010 was. It was so amazing that I don’t know where to even begin…. well, January of last year maybe a good place…ya know, since it is the beginning of the year & all. Duh!

But in January I won my first ever single’s title from the one & only Portia Perez in the first ever “Portia Perez’ Terrifyingly, Scary, Ninja Match of DOOOOOOOOOMMM”. No seriously, that was what she decided to call it. That is the title she had picked out…. the broad is crazy! So anyways, that match was amazing, not only because I won with a vicious Texas Cloverleaf through a chair, check it out at SMARTMARKVIDEO.COM on Guilty By Association 4 or at ANARCHYCHAMPIONSHIPWRESTLING.COM. We both went hard, throwing each other into walls, chairs, and trees & even down concrete stairs at the lovely Mohawk. A moment that I will never forget & I am so glad that it was in front of the ACW fans that have been with me since day one.

After that Jessica & I would begin to travel as the incredible team that we are known as Rachel and Jessica’s Excellent Tag Team. That’s right people! We have a name; we are a team through & through. Heck, as I am writing this she is napping on my futon next to me, therefore we are always together! I love Jessica & have learned so much from her & I couldn’t be happier to get to do what I love to do with someone like her. She is an incredible talent in the ring. Everyone should check Jessica James out. My world would not be the same without her.

This year has been full of so many up’s & down’s from winning my first title, to fighting with Daffney all over the place & having her take the American Joshi title from me, to teaming with Jessica & traveling all over, Athena attacking me with thumbtacks, to being on national television for Ring of Honor on HDNET. 2010 has been a great year, but 2011 is going to be so much bigger & better, but then again don’t we all say that about every year?

To everyone who I have come across this year & all the past ones, thank you for being you & teaching me something about myself. Whether it is good or bad, I appreciate it. This is just the beginning for my site & me. So stay with me, I am sure you will enjoy the ride & hopefully I will see most of you out there in the world!
